Through this book the author Elizabeth Vittone with us to experience the atmosphere of an epic, historic, fantastic images lived through the experiences of the protagonists.
main protagonist of the story is Godric, a young baron, in search of his sister Hetel, abducted during a raid in which parents have unfortunately had to overcome death.
Since research is rather laborious, difficult and fraught with danger, appearing next to Godroc another character: the Baron of Jorvik, who will accompany him in the northern lands, sacrificing himself in place of Godric, who, however, can not escape the death that destiny has preordained, even after becoming aware of the truth, Hetel say that in reality was not kidnapped by anyone, but is gone for the sake of the young Robert.
Even Hetel also conceals within itself a sweet secret, for whose love decides to sacrifice part of his happiness in order to discover the mysteries of fate that even she has set.
The final then seems to be not fully defined, can leave the suspense that makes the reader to express the desire for an immediate result.
The book is also written in a fluent Italian, error-free, with lines clearly visible history, a book able to move those who still believe in love stories and family ties.
A book definitely not to be missed for lovers of history and originality.
