Quotes About Neck Injuries

Robert John Thornton e il Tempio di Flora

Winter is still very present in these areas,
but inside me is getting stronger desire
of spring with its bright colors and mild climate ...
Unable to enjoy this spectacle of nature,
I found, in a book, some prints of flowers and plants made a halftone
and history that the man has collected.

Over the centuries, many have made
risky choice to follow their passion.
One of these is Robert John Thornton (1768-1837).
English, earned his medical degree in 1797 he inherited the family fortune.
From then on he devoted himself to his passion for botany.
For years he collected prints with beautiful flowers
placed in their natural environment,
creating a single work: "The Temple of Flora."
Costs This project was huge and the small sales ...
died in total poverty in 1837.

As often happens in the art world,
now these beautiful plates are
contention by collectors around the world.
